United Way BC / Healthy Aging has renewed funding to further the original pilot program that aimed to increase digital literacy among seniors and older adults in BC…. And we're pleased to continue introducing and helping seniors connect through technology.

Val is back in the role and ready to connect with interested seniors. She’ll work from starting level to teaching & exploration level to help clients get comfortable and enjoy their device, learn to use it for practical use (like making appointments and engaging services), and find out how to have social connection and enjoyment through it.

With a second partnership with Literary Alliance of Shuswap Society (L.A.S.S) we have some tablets to loan as well to help those without a device get their first taste of technology.
